Monday 11th of October in Venice

We start the day off with a walking tour of Venice and we quickly decide that this is by far our favourite place in Italy. You cant drive anywhere because the streets are not wide enough, the only mode of travel is by boat or Gondola. It is amazing to see, the garbage man has a boat, the posty has a boat, the couriers are boats and there main street is a river. It is just beautiful!

The Main Street, Canal 

After our walking tour we go to an Ventian Lace school where they show us the different types of lace they use in ancient and modern times. Mum will definately have to go here if she goes to Venice. They have bobbin lace aswell!

We also went on the Gondola through the canals!

It was hard to get a photo of all 6 of us as i was at the head of the Gondola!

We enjoyed an amazing Lunch on The Grand Canal with Jobe, Hannah,  Cassie and Leigh! It made for a great afternoon.
