Ryan was up early this morning again to watch the stupid, Rematch of the AFL. Not as good a game as last week! After breakfast we checked out and put our luggage in storage. Today we meet up with our bus tour at 5pm on the otherside of Paris.
We headed to the Sacre Crour, a beautiful church at the highest point in Paris, with amazing views of the whole city. We were welcomed with open arms by the sky with rain, rain and more rain. next stop was the Lourve Museum to visit the Mona Lisa. We luckily had a museum pass because when we got there the line up into the museum was 3hours long. The museum pass got us into a different enterance with no line up. We headed straight for the painting. It was alot smaller the i had thought but still every bit as puzzling as they say it is. No matter what side of the room you stand on her eyes are always looking at you. Ryan was absolutly fascinated by it.
After the Mona Lisa we headed to the hotel we would be staying at the next 2 nights with the Topdeck tour group. We arrived just as the bus pulled up. We introduced ourselves to Scott from Scotland! Our tour guide for the next two weeks. Checked into our room...... 5 star compared to where we have been staying! had a shower and the straight back down to head out for the city at night tour. Paris is amazing when it is lit up at night, the Eiffel Tower, Arc Triomphe and Notre Damn Cathedral, all look gorgeous.
