Saturday 16th, Ryan sick in Berlin

We woke up early this morning so we could do our laundry while we had breakfast. Ryan has woken up with a massively swollen right gland on his throat. I mean this thing is so massive that i can see it protruding from his neck. He tried to have some breakfast, but it hurt to much to swallow so i sent him back to bed! I finished breakfast and did the washing and pottered around the hostel for a couple of hours. I woke him after lunch and we headed to the pharmacy to get him some throat gargle and some more ibuprofen. I have decided that if its not better by tomorrow then we will have to find him a doctor because this thing is massive!

We didn´t completely waste the day because we did one of those free walking tours, like the one we did in Munich. Where it works on a tips basis. It was 3 and a half hours long and took us for a walk through the amazing history, not only of Hitler and the Nazi Regime but also through the fairly recent cold war, the rise and fall of the Berlin Wall. This place has a lot of harsh history!

Ryan has gone to bed now and that finally brings me up to date with the blogging. The best bit about hostels would have to be the internet access. Not many hotels have it, and its quite expensive if they do! I should be able to keep up to date, daily now and i will put in some photos tommorow night for you all to look at xoxoxoxox
