Tuesday the 5th

Today we caught a train, cable car and then ferry to the Swiss town of Lucerne. Quiet a small town and very touristy, but also very beautiful. Every second shop sold either swiss watches, swiss army knives , swiss chocolate or all of the above. We started of on a walking tour with our guide, Scott. But a few of us where taking too many photos and we ended up losing the rest of the group. We where with our new friends Hannah and Jobe from Tamworth and Tim and Julie from West of Sydney. We found ourselves an English speaking restaurant that wasnt too expensive, and stopped for lunch. We spent the rest of the afternoon looking at watch after watch after watch and knives after knives after knives. After buying no watches or knives we headed back to the ferry and went back up to the top of Mt Rigi. Dinner was at 7pm and included again in the tour price was a 3 course meal. We stayed up until 11pm chatting with a few couples from the bus and then headed to bed. Bus tommorow to Florence via the Leaning tower of Pisa!
