Getting to Barcelona

Next stop Barcelona, only a 50min flight from Ibiza with Spanair. We where both exhausted by the time we arrived in barcelona at 12pm so we where both just lookimg forward to getting to our next hostel and having a nana nap. We got off the plane and went straight to the cab rank. This is where we encountered our first language barrier. I asked th e cabbie if he could speak English and his answer was no.... oh oh! I had the name of where we were staying written down, but he had not heard of the street and was getting very confused about it. Lucily also that we had the telephone number of the hostel, as he used his own mobile phone to ring the hostel and get the directions. We realised quite quickly that we would need to touch up our spanish a little if we where going to get through the next couple of days.
