Sentosa Island

Woke up at 7am after a good 14hr sleep! went straight to the train station and caught the MRT to Harbourside. These trains are amazing... No driver at all, hardly any seats, they come every couple of minutes and take no time at all to get to where they are going.

We had our first encounter with our new favourite eatery Bread Talk.... Hundreds of sweet and a savoury rolls priced at next to nothing.... And MILO in a Can... WHAT THE?

Can of Milo $1.60

We caught the cable car to Sentosa Island. Sentosa is a little island a kilometre of the coast of Singapore. The Singaporeans call it the rich mans playground. A Big theme park with lots of expense.... The cable car is so high up. I reckon you can see Australia from up there and  This island is amazing. beautiful beaches, walks, its own mono rail, universal studios, casino, wave pool, resorts everywhere, clubs, pubs and our favourite part of the day.... The Mega zip!!!! A massive flying fox which starts from the top of the hill and goes about 500m over a river to another little island. Now i was a little bit scared! not of doing it, that i couldn't wait for but my concern was it would pull on my collarbone. yes it was perhaps a little bit silly of me to try it but i had been waiting a long time for this...... It was fine, didn't pull on me at all and what a lot of fun!!! I wish we had something like this in S.A

After our nana nap in the afternoon we headed to Marina sands for a look at the amazing Cashino (as the locals call it) that opened only this year.... Imagine this.... 3 huge buildings next to each other hundreds of metres high with a massive ship on top of them all. joining them together. It has apartments, hotels, shops, a convention centre, casino and more, this thing is massive.... Owned by the guy that owns The Bellagio in Las Vagas. This place is amazing. another interesting fact. If you are a foreigner it doesn't cost anything for you to use the cashino. but if you live in Singapore you have to pay $100 entry fee. This is the countries way of trying to deter its people from gambling.
