Sunday the 19th. What an awesome breakfast

We just finished breakfast at the Astor Victoria Hostel. Now we know that the other hostel we stayed at was shit. We had, coco pops, cornflakes, toast with ham and cheese, biscuits with cuppa tea. The quality made me want to eat, not like at the other place. Also, we had a hot shower this morning. I will not take them for granted anymore! Not only that, you get a free 40mins on the internet and the it's only 1 pound to charge it up with another 40mins. We are both taking full advantage of this.

We started the day walking to Buckingham Palace, approximately 15mins walk from the hostel. We were hoping to catch the changing of the guard. We got all the way there and realised that it is only on every second day so we will have to return tomorrow.

We decided to set our minds on trying to find tickets to the Chelsea vs Blackpool Game at 4pm. We went straight to a Londoner wearing the Chelsea colours. He told us the game was sold out but to try going to go to Leicester square. Sometimes the people that sell theatre tickets also buy in bulk the game tickets and sell them for 10 pound more to make a profit. When we got to the square we asked one of the ticket booths and they told us to try walking up to Piccadilly Square, but he didn't like our chances much. We walked up to Piccadilly square (feels like we are in a monopoly game) and i seen at the corner of my eye a sign saying Chelsea vs Liverpool today at 4pm. I ran over to the booth and asked the guy. He said he had 4 tickets left. Ryan was so excited. We had to leave 10pounds with him as security while we ran to to the bank to take out money. We ended up paying 10 pounds more then everyone else but we didn't care. It was 1.30pm by this time so we had an hour or so to kill before the train to Chelsea Stadium.

We hadn't been to St Pauls Cathedral yet so we caught a train there to have a look. It was open for the Sunday Service so we didn't have to pay to go in, I was stoked! a tour of the place cost 20 pounds and all you really need to do is walk inside the front door to see how beautiful it is. You can't take photos inside and you can't get far enough away from it to get the whole church in your camera frame so we bought a book of postcards for 3 pound to have for keepsakes.

St Pauls Cathedral

Time for the train to Chelsea Stadium... We headed back to the hostel quickly to get a few more layers of clothes on and then caught 2 trains to get to Chelsea. There were thousands and thousands of people lined up to catch the tube to the game. Hundreds crammed into each carriage, you could hardly move, but the atmosphere was amazing. The blackpool cheersquad. Cheered the whole way to the game, atleast a half hour trip in total.

When we walked off the plane, there where seas of people... The excitement was building. Ryan had jumped on the Chelsea band wagon and purchased a scarf to look the part. The game was awesome, Chelsea won 4 goals nil. Ryan can now happily say he has been to an English Premier League game.

After the game

Ryans Jumped on the Chelsea bandwagon 'Chelsea 4 life!'
